Contest Airs Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm

Features a daily "Cree Word/Phrase of the Day" on air.

Listeners must hear the word and call into station.

Correct translators are entered into weekly draws.

One entry per day, weekly winner is announced Fridays at 1:30pm.

The Cree words are supplied by the Maskwacis Cree App and local Cree speakers.

 

Contest Rules

1. The "Cree word/phrase of the day" must correctly be translated into English to be entered into Friday's draw at 1:30pm.

2. Only one entry per day is allowed. 

3. Winners of the weekly draw may only win once every 30 days.

4. Open to all nations and online listeners.

5. Disputes regarding translations will be addressed and resolved as instructed by the Hawk Radio Manager.

Maskwacis Trivia
Listen throughout the day Monday to Fridays 8am to 4pm for the Maskwacis Trivia question and answer within the hour for your chance to win ca$h!!!! Random hour during morning or afternoon so make sure you tune in to win.
One correct caller can win $100 on Monday, if no one answers correctly then the cash prize goes up a hundred dollars each day it isn't answered correctly and the grand prize of $500 on Fridays. Contest began October 2025 to first week in April 2026.
